Rehabilitation of this 1918 historic townhouse located in the Upper East Side historic district includes both exterior and interior work. The 21,500sf building contains two levels of events spaces, and five levels of residential living. Exterior work includes new custom wood windows, repairs to structural steel and masonry, and new roofing. Interior work includes a new building-wide HVAC system with BMS, new electrical, new lighting and elevator upgrades. The interior scope also includes finish upgrades, layout reconfiguration of specific areas, and a complete renovation of kitchens, catering pantries and bathrooms. At spaces used for special events, historic interior finishes and decorative architectural elements will be restored including ornamental plasterwork, woodwork, wall coverings, gilding, wood flooring and stone flooring.
