Project Description

Rehabilitation of this 4,300sf building in Cobble Hill called for the complete restoration of its exterior, and major renovations to the interior including all mechanical, electrical and plumbing services. The townhouse was completely gutted and the interior layouts were transformed from a warren of small rooms to a series of more open loft-like spaces. In order to achieve the design, new steel structural beams, columns and foundations were introduced, which allowed for the living, kitchen and dining areas to become open and light-filled. The design integrated enlarged window and door openings to allow more daylight to penetrate into the house. In addition, the internal stairs were completely rebuilt, the kitchen and bathrooms were completely renovated, and all-new interior finishes were completed throughout.
